SGT Dedrick Clark serves with Command Central (Communications)  at Camp Doha, Kuwait. 

SGT Dedrick Clark of Cuthbert, Georgia is the son of Fady and Georgia Clark. He has one sister, Fadara Clark of Albany, Georgia. 

Dedrick is a 1987 graduate of Randolph-Clay High School. He is married and has four children. 

As a child, Dedrick always talked about being in the army like his dad. His dad is a Viet Nam veteran.

SGT Dedrick Clark has served in the United States Army for fourteen  years.


 


This is my son PV2 Jonathan Mayberry, a graduate of Tift Co. High 2001 . He has been in the Army since Aug. 2002, and stationed in Germany since Jan. 2003. 

He is in the infantry. He 1s now serving in Iraq. He called the other day to say he was fine, but hot. He is the oldest of my three boys, and is 20.

He is the 4th generation of our family to serve in the military. His Great-grandfather retired from the Air Force and was in World War II. His grandfather is retired from the Army and was in Korea and Vietnam. One of his uncles was in the navy. His other uncle is in the Air Force, and was in Desert Storm and has just returned from Saudi.

 Jonathan is a very caring, thoughtful, out-going. We are all so very proud of him.

Specialist Brandon Herren is a Fire Control Specialist with the 101st Airborne Division, and is stationed in Mosul, Iraq.

Melvious Peters is from Parrott, Georgia, and has served in the Army sinc1997. he is now with his Army unit in Kuwait. His  grandmother, Annie Mae Peters, raised him from boyhood to manhood.

She loves him so much, and wants him to come back safe. His family misses Melvious very much.



Denevious Davis is a Specialist with the 317th Engineers, Alpha Company in Baghdad. 

He has four children, two boys, and two girls.

Debra Clinton is a Warrant Officer II, based at Fort Hood, Texas, and is serving in Iraq with the 4th Infantry. She has two daughters, and one grand daughter. Deborah is the daughter of Dennis and Eva Thomas of Leesburg.

Antonio and Elondria Ramsey are both stationed in Kuwait. They are based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Their daughter Robyn is living in Leesburg with her mother's sister, and has been in South Georgia since Christmas.

Antonio is from Mississippi, and Elondria is from Columbus.



Petty Officer Raymond Murray is a 2000 graduate of Colquitt County High, and participated in Junior ROTC. 

Raymond is the kind of young man who makes his parents and his whole family extremely proud. His mom is so proud to have raised such a fine man. 

Raymond is a member of the Friendship Baptist Church, and is now serving in the U.S. Navy.



Keshia is from Vienna, Ga and Brian is from Dublin, Ga. They met at their first duty assignment in Germany. They are stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and are both deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Brian has been gone since September of 2002. 


(Left and above) Sergeant Brian Coleman, and Keshia Daniels Coleman, are serving in the Army, stationed at Louisville, Kentucky.

Keshia and Brian have three children together and will spend their June 17th fourth anniversary apart.

 



SPC Dorian Michelle McGill is a graduate of Dougherty Comprehensive High School, Class of 2000. She is assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division at Hunter Army Airfield In Savannah, where she works as an ammunition specialist. 

She has been at camp in New York, and in Kuwait for a month, and is not due back until November. Love, and hurry home soon.

Sgt. James Leroy, was born and raised in Albany, Georgia. He attended the Dougherty County public school system. Sgt. Leroy is a graduate of Monroe Comprehensive High School class of 1992. He is the proud son of Julia Davis and James Leroy. 

Sgt. Leroy has four siblings, Kizzy, Emarlos, and Antonio Leroy. He is married to Mrs. Daphne Holiday Leroy and they have two lovely kids, Ashley and James Jr. 

Sgt. Leroy has been enlisted in the The United States Army for 10 years and he enjoys serving this great country and preserving freedom both far and near!

Michael Alfonza Green was born to the late Marilyn Green, and is also the Son of Eddie Dean Lavson. 

He is the Great Grandson of Mr. Crawford and Mary Green, who reared Him from Child hood.
He graduated from Americus High School in 1990, and enlisted in the United States Army.

Michael fought in the Persian Gulf War, and is serving again, this time in Afghanistan.

Private Corey Burden is a 2001 Westover High School graduate, and is stationed in Kuwait. 

He is the only son of Bessie Simmons. His whole family looks forward to his homecoming very soon.



SPC. Teresa Lewis is part of the 101st Airborne Division, and is deployed to Kuwait. 

Teresa is 21, and is the daughter of Evon Lewis, and is deeply missed by her family and friends.

Curtis Curry is proudly serving our nation in the United State Navy. 

His mother is Sherrie Jones.


 


SCP Victor Johnson, Jr. graduated from Colquitt County High in 1993, and then served four years in the Army, before going to college.

His Army Reserve Unit, the 1148th Transportation Company, is based in Thomasville. Victor's friends and family want him to accomplish his mission, and come home soon.



Sgt. Robert Grant is a Colquitt County native, and is married to Susie Grant, and the couple has three children. 

He has been an active duty National Guardsman for 21 years, and is now in Kuwait.

Robert's church family keeps him in their prayers, even though we don't know when he will return.



Corporal Martinez Newsome is a graduate of Cook County High School, and serves the Navy in a surgery unit. 

He has been in service for five years, and has a wife,  Answa, and a son, Javian. 

Martinez is the son of Bishop Frank and Sharon Myles, father Oscar Patterson, Jr. His grandparents live in Adel.



Seaman Niko Shelton is a 2002 Honor Graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School. His parents are Norman and Virginia Shelton.

he is a Mechanical Engineer, posted to the U.S.S. Mount Whitney, off the coast of Africa.



 


PFC Lee King (on the right) is a transport Coordinator in the Army. Lee is a 22-year-old Worth County High School alumnus, and left his duty station at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, to go to Iraq.

Lee joined the military to make a better life for himself. His family misses him very much.

Lance Corporal Oscar Edwards is a 2000 graduate of Valdosta High School, and enlisted in the Marine Corps after receiving his diploma. 

He is the grandson of Warren and Minnie Calhoun.

Oscar will be 20 in June.

     SGT (P) Christopher B. Sutton is an Automated Logistic Specialist in the U.S. Army. He is presently serving his country in Iraq. Christopher is part of the most elite division in world, The 101st Airborne Division, Air Assault. He has been in the Army for 9 years, and is the cousin of Willie Sutton, at right. 
    Christopher is a 1992 graduate of Turner County High School, and is the son of Nan Sutton and Charles Rogers of Ashburn, Georgia. 
    Christopher has a sister, Tori Sutton, of Ashburn, and a brother, Michael Sutton, in Naples, Italy. Sutton is married to Tiffany Lewis-Sutton and they have two wonderful children, a son, Christopher Jr. and a daughter, Icis. 
   His wife and children are awaiting his safe return home to Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

PVT. 1st Class Willie J. Sutton is a Chemical Specialist in the U.S. Army, presently serving his country in Iraq. 





He has been in the Army for one year, and is the cousin of Christopher Sutton, at left.

    Willie is the son of Marie Sutton of Albany, Georgia. Willie has a sister, Latasha Morman (Albany) and a brother, Derrick Sutton, (Albany). 

   He is married to Shaqutia Bishop-Sutton and they a wonderful daughter, Jaliyah. 

Willie's wife and daughter are awaiting his safe return in Albany.

 



Sgt. Don Durrance is a member of the 1148th Transportation Unit from Thomasville, and is now in Kuwait. 

He and his wife Laura live in Lakeland. 

Don is the son of James and Margaret Durrance of Nashville, and he has three older sisters.



Bainbridge native SPC Maurice Conyers is the son of Ralph and Mildred Conyers, Sr.

He is the grandson of James L. and Lovie Conyers, Sr. and the late Josie Roddy. 

He's stationed at Fort Campbell, KY. 494 Trans. Co., now somewhere in Baghdad serving with the 101st CSG (561st CSB)



23-year-old Tony Mango is a 1999 graduate of Pelham High School. He is a Supply Specialist in the Army. He is the son of W. F., Sr.,  and Veronica Mango. His family is very proud of Tony, and hopes to see him soon.


Staff Sergeant Gregory Ellis is a 1992 graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School, and joined the Army in 1994. He went to Kuwait with the 3rd Infantry in August of last year. Gregory is the son of William and Bernice Ellis, Jr. His wife's name is Jena. His family waits for his safe return.


Private Nicole Williams is a member of the 101st Airborne Division, in Iraq.

 Her parents are Vela Williams and Henry King. Nicole is a 2000 graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School. She has a 10-month old child, Amari. 

Her family wishes her all the best, and a safe return home.

taff Sergeant Michael C. Isaza is a 1992 graduate of Tift County High School.  He enlisted in the US Army  that year. His wife, Julie Palier Isaza, awaits him in Geissen, Germany, home of his Unit, the 2-3 Field Artillery of the First Armored Division.  He is the son of Mario and Deborah Isaza,  who currently  live in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He is the grandson of Sereta Crooms of Cuthbert. His sister, Christina Harrison, lives in Valdosta.
 
His family loves him and misses him terribly. We pray for him and all of America's finest as they undertake this difficult task on behalf of America and our allies.

Staff Sergeant Gregory O’Hara Spence, son of Clarence and Katie Haynes of Albany, was deployed to Kuwait in January. He’s a 1988 graduate of Monroe High. Radio Chief Spence is in the 9th Communication Battalion First Marine Expeditionary Force from Camp Pendleton, California. 

 

He’s the father of two daughters, Soriyah and Chunthrea  Spence, and the husband of Staff Sergeant Kim Spence, who has also been deployed to Kuwait but is back home now and stationed at Camp Pendleton, California.

 

Gregory's family is praying for him to return home safely, and we like to thank all of you for your prayers.

Albany Lt. Carlos Williams, MD, is based at the Naval Hospital at Pensacola, Florida. Carlos specializes in Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics.

He deployed with the Hospital Fleet in March.

His parents are Elijah and Frances Williams. Doctor Williams is a graduate of Westover High School, Albany State, and the Morehouse School of Medicine.


Claxton Bell is from Dawson. He is married to the former Constance Johnson, and is the father of two sons. Claxton serves aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz, in the Reactor Division.

When we last heard from him, he was strong in mind and spirit, and asked about all his family and friends. 

Claxton said he is ready to come home.
