I am attaching a photograph of my son, Sgt. John R. Roland, who is serving in the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, deployed with Operation Iraqi Freedom. My son is a very dedicated Marine and loves his country to the extent that, if it took it, he would give his life. He is a simple man and loves his family and his friends and truly the State of Georgia. He currently lives in Jacksonville, NC with his wife and is stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Thank you for including his photograph as one of America's Bravest. He truly is an example for all to follow, and I am extremely proud of him and what he stands for. He truly is an American through and through.
