My
brother, SFC Arthur Robinson, is
on assignment in Kuwait. He's the
son of Arthur & Mamie Robinson
Sr. of Lake Blackshear, GA. ![]() This is by far the hardest ordeal that my family has ever faced. Because we're such a closely knitted family, it's extremely difficult to just sit back knowing that he's in such a precarious situation and not be able to do anything to keep him out of harms way. Some days it just seems like too much to ask. It's truly a massive weight on the heart not knowing where he is at any given moment of the day. I watch the phones relentlessly hoping and wishing to hear the sound of his voice on the other end. I mail care packages not knowing if the packages will ever reach him. I watch my mother and my father praying to God to bring him home safely. I receive calls daily from each of my siblings in hopes that one or the other of us have heard from our brother. Although
we know in our hearts that he is
strong, courageous, very capable,
and devoted to serving his country
without complaint, we can't help
wondering, if it's this hard for
us here, how hard it must be for
him there. Therefore, we SALUTE
him for all that he stands for and
for all that he's done. He's truly
missed and loved. I would consider
it an honor if you would include
my beloved brother on your photo
wall for the entire world to see.
Thanks for affording me this
opportunity to reach out to him
across the seas in hopes that he
may be watching. My family and I
will continue to fervently pray
for all the soldiers to have a
speedy and safe return. We Miss
You & We Love You, Rob! |
